Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or purchasing from QTrudy. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who we are

2. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on this website. Products are designed for wearers aged 16–70; if you are purchasing for someone under 18, you confirm you have the authority to do so on their behalf.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information when placing an order

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website

  • Use the website in any way that could damage, disable or impair it

3. Our products

QTrudy swimwear is designed with able swimmers in mind, featuring minimal foam aid sewn discreetly into the garment for extra support while treading water.

We make every effort to display our products, colours and sizing as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will show colours completely accurately, and slight variations between the website and the physical product may occur.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in [GBP (£) — TO BE CONFIRMED] and are inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

In the unlikely event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical or pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment taken.

5. Order acceptance and contract formation

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order — it does not mean we have accepted it.

A legally binding contract between you and QTrudy is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming your item(s) have been shipped.

We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if there has been a pricing error. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund.

6. Delivery

Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided. Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full.

7. Your right to cancel and return items

As a consumer shopping online in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, without giving a reason, within 14 days of receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us once you've told us you wish to cancel.

Returns conditions:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, with all original tags and hygiene liners still attached

  • For hygiene reasons, swimwear that has had its hygiene liner removed cannot be returned unless faulty

  • You are responsible for return postage costs, unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item

8. Important: intended use and safety

This section explains how QTrudy products are intended to be used. Please read it carefully before purchasing.

  • QTrudy swimwear is designed with able swimmers in mind, and includes minimal foam aid for additional support while treading water.

  • QTrudy is not intended as a replacement for buoyancy aids, life jackets or other required safety equipment. Always wear certified safety equipment when it is required or recommended.

  • QTrudy is not intended for non-swimmers.

  • It is your responsibility to assess your own swimming ability and the conditions you are swimming in, and to use appropriate certified safety equipment whenever necessary.

  • Always wear what you are confident in wearing to stay safe.

9. Faulty or damaged items

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on how long you've had the item.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product designs and the QTrudy name — is owned by or licensed to QTrudy and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content without our prior written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our products or website

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the price you paid for that product
